Accommodation

Student Accommodation in Malaysia, Sorted Before You Land

We work with accommodation partners around Malaysia's campuses, so you can compare real options at every budget for the university you are joining — not generic listings.

On-Campus Residence

University-managed halls inside or beside campus. Simplest option for first-year students, with security, Wi-Fi and easy access to classes.

Purpose-Built Student Housing

Private student residences close to campus with furnished rooms, study areas, laundry and community events. Usually leased by semester or academic year.

Shared Apartments & Condominiums

Rooms in a shared condo unit, often with a pool, gym and security. Popular for students who want more space and a lower cost per person.

Private Studio Units

A self-contained unit for students who prefer privacy. Typically furnished, with individual utilities and a personal kitchen or kitchenette.

Short-Stay on Arrival

Temporary accommodation for your first days in Malaysia while you view rooms in person and complete registration at your university.

Homestay & Family Housing

Living with a host family or in family-friendly housing — suited to younger students and those arriving with dependants.

Options in Every Budget

Essential

Shared rooms in student housing or shared apartments. The lowest-cost route, with basic furnishing and shared kitchen and bathroom.

Comfort

A private room in a shared unit or a managed student residence, usually with utilities, Wi-Fi and cleaning bundled into one payment.

Premium

Studio or one-bedroom units in serviced residences with full facilities, closer to campus and with shorter commute times.

Rent, deposits and contract terms are quoted by each provider and vary by city and campus. We share current prices with you directly rather than publishing estimates.

How We Help You Choose

  • We match you with accommodation partners who serve your specific university and campus location.
  • You receive options across budget levels, with the current rent and deposit quoted directly by the provider.
  • We explain what each price includes — utilities, Wi-Fi, furnishing, cleaning and contract length — before you commit.
  • We help you compare commute time, safety, nearby transport, groceries and halal or dietary needs.
  • We assist with booking, deposit steps and move-in dates so your housing is arranged before you fly.
  • If something goes wrong after arrival, your advisor stays involved until it is resolved.
Ask About Accommodation

Parents can rest easy — finding your child the right student accommodation in Malaysia is all part of UniPanda Care.

UniPanda Care

Care That Continues After Arrival in Malaysia

Landing in a new country is only the beginning. UniPanda Care looks after the everyday things parents worry about most — legal, health and getting from the airport to home safely.

Legal Help

Guidance for everyday legal questions — rental and tenancy contracts, documentation and understanding your rights as an international student in Malaysia. When it needs an expert, we connect your family with trusted local advisors.

Health Support

Help finding clinics and hospitals near your accommodation, understanding what your health insurance covers and getting support arranging appointments when your child is unwell.

Airport to Accommodation Transport

A pre-arranged, safe transfer from the airport directly to your child's accommodation on arrival day — no taxis to negotiate, no getting lost on the first night in a new country.

Subscription-based: UniPanda Care is a subscription-based service. Families choose the level of support that fits them, with plans and pricing shared directly by our team.
